Anima Mundi Consort, formed in 2003, groups
various performers with extensive experience in the field of Period Music. The ensemble
performs using solely original instruments from the chosen period and collaborates with
renowned experts in the fields of research and interpretation of Ancient Music and also
in the reconstruction of period instruments.

Luca Brunelli Felicetti: percussion, psaltery, bells, cloquebois and vocals.
In 1984, Luca Brunelli Felicetti was one of the founder members of the Period Music ensemble
Modo Antiquo, in which he was extremely active both in concerts and recordings. He also
obtained a nomination for a Grammy Award. Since then he has collaborated with many ensembles
including Gran Consort Li Stromenti, Musica Ricercata, Ensemble 1492, Homme Armèe,
Il Complesso Barocco directed by Alan Curtis and the Harp Consort of Andrew Lawrence-King.
He currently has fifteen CD’s to his name. |
Alessandra Rossi, soprano,
has sung in numerous operatic productions in various theatres of renown such as the “San Carlo” in Naples, “La Scala” in Milan and the “Verdi” in Florence, under Maestro's,
which include B. Bartoletti, P. Bellugi, M. De Bernardt, C. Desderi, D. Oren, A. Zedda,
and operatic directors such as M. Bologni, R. De Simone, G. De Tommasi, and L. Kemp.
She has also recorded the “Juditha Triumphans Oratorio” by A. Vivaldi. |

Gianna Grazzini, mezzosoprano,
studied under F. Carti, J. Griffet, J. Cash, S. Taskova, K. Gamberucci, P. Toscani
(Manhattan School of Music) and E. Blahova. She has sung with various musicians of
international renown such as F. Cucchi, H. Arman, F. Sardelli, the Soloists of Italian
Madrigals, J. Jurgens, S. Preston, and the Ensemble L’Homme Armée. She has also recorded a
previously unrecorded work of A. Banchieri. |
Gaspare Bartelloni, flute, bagpipes,
gralla and horn flutes, studied under A.Nicolet. He has been playing Period Music
since1988 and collaborates with orchestras and chamber music ensembles of various
nationalities, also in the role of musical director. He has recorded numerous C.D.s,
among which a complete work by Anna Bon e del Division Flute of 1706. |

Ugo Galasso, flageolet, gaita, shawm, cane flute,
and tabor and pipes, studied the flute in Italy and France under D. Bellugi and B.
Hayward. He has collaborated with various ensembles of period music, including Modo Antiquo,
L’Homme Armèe, the Ducal Palace Chapel of Venice and the Theatrum Instrumentorum, apart from
being a permanent member of the Tuscae Gentes ensemble, where he also satisfies his love for
Traditional and Folk Music. He has, to date, taken part in the recordings of twenty compact
discs. |
Bernardo Barzagli, fiddle,
rebec, tromba marina, studied under N. Brainin and L.P. Horvat. He subsequently embarked
upon the study of the baroque violin with E. Gatti, giving numerous concerts in the field of
period music. |

Piero Callegari, trumpet da tirarsi and shawm, has
been active for many years as a performer of pre-Baroque music and among other interests,
he is particularly involved in the reconstruction of period instruments, starting with the
iconography and documentary evidence written in the Medieval and Renaissance ages. |
Daniele Poli, lute, harp, psaltery,
synphonia and spanish guitar, studied classical guitar under the Maestro’s A. Borghese,
L. Brouwer (by whom he has also been directed) and S. Mazzoni and has had numerous engagements
with various national T.V. networks. He has been particularly drawn to the performance of
period music and the construction of original period instruments. He is also a founder
member of the Tuscan Folk music ensemble, Tuscae Gentes. |

Kumiko Konishi, spinnet, harpsichord and
organ, has lived in Italy since 1988, where he continued his musical studies
under L.F. Tagliavini, S. Innocenti, L. Tamminga, J.L. Gonzalez Uriol, M. Radulescu,
H. Vogel, and M. Henking. He is Organ Master to the Church of Saint Filippo and Saint
Andrea in Pistoia. His concert performances are at international level. |
